Description: Something we found on youtube to give the wee-uns a bit of information about a varied diet in the hope that they dive in eat healthy and thing about mixing it up a bit more - more than the usual hot dogs and pizza. Mix it up folks!

Fruit & Yoghurt Parfait

Brekkie, Snack or Dessert


Ingredients & How to:


2-3 tablespoons of natural yogurt in a glass.

Then a layer of your favourite berries - Strawberries, blueberries, rasberries.

Put another 2-3 tablespoons of yoghurt on top

Then top with more berries, nuts and granola and drizzle of honey.


Note if you prep day or 2 before eating, save the granola to later so it stays crunchy.

Be creative - the berries can be replaced with things like coconut flakes or any fruit you like.

Milk free muesli mix

Ingredients & How to:


approx 1 or 2 cups of a muesli mix into a big bowl.

You can use store bought muesli mix but can mix your own. Contain oats, bran flakes, linseeds, raisins and dessicated coconut.

1 banana, sliced thin and onto the muesli mix

1 Granny Smith (green) apple, peeled, cored and grated over the muesli and banana mix.

Time then to get clean hands dirty.

Mush everything together using the grated apple and banana as a bind to get everything stuck nice and squishy.

wash hands and Eat up. It might not look much but its filling, healthy and energetic.
